DZ90A Pile Driver – 570 KN Exciting Force + Wireless Remote Control For Reliable Driving/Extraction
The DZ90A Electric Vibratory Hammer is a mid-to-heavy-duty piling solution from the renowned DZ Series. Suspended easily from crawler cranes (min. 50 t capacity), this machine performs both pile driving and extraction with outstanding efficiency. It is specifically designed for foundation contractors in Vietnam, India, and Russia who need a balance of power, portability (5.58 t), and low environmental impact.
The DZ90A handles a wide range of pile types: steel sheet piles (for retaining walls and cofferdams), I-beams, H-sections, steel pipe piles, precast concrete piles (square/round), and stone columns for ground improvement.
- Eco-Friendly & Low-Noise Operation
Minimizes disturbance near residential or protected areas – a critical advantage for urban projects in Vietnam and India. - High-Grade Vibration-Resistant Motor
A leading domestic brand motor rated at 90 kW ensures stable, long-lasting performance under continuous high-intensity vibration. Works reliably in Russian sub-zero conditions with proper cold-weather grease. - Intelligent Wireless Remote Control
The integrated distribution box features wireless remote control, enhancing operator safety. The baked enamel finish provides superior rust resistance – essential for humid coastal sites in Southeast Asia. - Renowned Frequency Converter
Simplifies troubleshooting and maintenance, reducing downtime. Local technicians in India or Vietnam can easily service the unit. - Single Clamp Type
Optimized for standard pile sizes. Simple and robust, reducing potential failure points.

| Minimum Crane Capacity | ≥ 50 t |
The DZ90A is part of the DZ30A–DZ240A family, offering full compatibility with standard lifting equipment.
| Market | Specific Advantage |
|---|---|
| Vietnam & SE Asia | 5.58 t weight allows easy transport by road. Rust-resistant coating stands up to high humidity and saline air. Low noise (no hydraulic hammer bang) suitable for night work permits. |
| India | Works with common 200 kVA generators. Simple single-clamp design reduces maintenance cost. Handles diverse soils from soft alluvial (Ganges plain) to hard laterite. |
| Russia | Vibration motor performs at -20°C with proper lubrication. High extraction force (240 kN) helps pull piles from frozen ground or permafrost. |
- Driving steel sheet piles for cofferdams in river bridges (Vietnam’s Mekong Delta)
- Extracting H-beams after temporary shoring (Mumbai metro construction)
- Installing stone columns for ground improvement (soft soil in Jakarta or Bangkok)
- Precast concrete pile driving (up to 1200 mm diameter) with amplitude check)
- Steel pipe pile installation for port terminals (Chennai or Vladivostok)
Q1: What generator size do I need for the DZ90A in India?
A: Minimum 200 kW. We recommend 250 kW to allow for voltage fluctuations and cable losses.
Q2: Can the DZ90A extract sheet piles buried in clay for 2 years?
A: Yes. The 240 kN allowable extraction force combined with 570 kN exciting force will loosen most cohesive soils. Pre-vibration for 10–20 seconds is recommended.
Q3: Is wireless remote control reliable in rainy conditions (Vietnam)?
A: The control box is IP-rated with baked enamel coating. Keep the receiver unit dry. A wired backup is not included but can be requested.
Q4: What maintenance is needed for Russia’s winter?
A: Use low-temperature grease (e.g., Mobilith SHC 100) in the vibratory case. Check cable flexibility (70 mm² cable remains flexible down to -30°C if using rubber-insulated type).
Q5: Which pile types are NOT suitable?
A: Very large diameter concrete piles (>1200 mm) may require higher amplitude. For those, consider DZ150A or DZ240A.
Q6: Does the DZ90A come with a crane?
A: No. You need a crawler crane of at least 50 t capacity (e.g., Hitachi, Kobelco, or XCMG).
Q7: Can I use it for both driving and extraction without changing setup?
A: Yes. The same clamping system works for both operations. Use wireless remote to reverse the eccentric moment direction.
- Better power-to-weight ratio (90 kW / 5.58 t) than many hydraulic vibratory hammers.
- Lower noise – no hydraulic power pack noise, only electric motor hum.
- Lower total cost of ownership – no hydraulic oil changes, fewer moving parts.
- Globally supported frequency converter – common components available in Ho Chi Minh City, Delhi, and Moscow.
